I can’t believe I am blogging 7th day in row. I feel proud of myself.
Few days back i visited my mom and found some of my childhood Christmas books. I loved them as child! They have so beautiful pictures, I loved to look at them (and I like to look at them now). One thing was common in all the festive books I had – poems. A lot of Christmas poems. In Latvia we have a tradition – children have to count a pome to get present.
I remember there was one poem that everyone knew. It wassuper easy to learn it. And I still remember it. And probably I won’t forget it for the rest of my life. I think it would be nice tradition until Christmas read one poem in day. For nostalgic reasons and to get in a festive spirit.
LV: Viļa Plūdoņa nu nekādīgi neaizmirstamais dzejolis “Ziemassvētku Rūķītis”. Lai gan skolā bija jāmācās arī citi Ziemassvētku dzejoļi (skolotājau laikam to apnika klausīties katru gadu un 3. vai 4. klasē šo vairs nebija atļauts skaitīt eglītē :D), es atceros tikai šo. Vai kādam tā ir vēl gadījies?
